World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
The World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships are the World Championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1963. The 29th rhythmic gymnastics world championships kicked off in Japan's Mie Prefecture on Monday, attracting top gymnasts from more than 50 countries and regions. Olympic champion Evgeniya Kanaeva of Russia won two gold medals on Tuesday at the rhythmic gymnastics world championships.–AFP & AP Photos.
