MIR ALI: Intelligence officials say a US missile strike has killed at least three people in a northwestern tribal region near the Afghan border.
Two officials said the two missiles early Tuesday destroyed a car carrying three people in a village near Mir Ali, a main town in North Waziristan.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to speak publicly to the media.
US drones have carried out scores of missile strikes in Pakistani areas over the past year. —Agencies
