Thick fog blankets Punjab

LAHORE: Thick fog blanketed Lahore and other parts of Punjab on Monday as mercury further dropped down.

On the other hand, several vehicles collided on Motorway and other roads due to heavy fog. Meteorological department predicted that spell of fog will continue in coming few days.

According to Met office, haze disrupted the schedule of all international and domestic flights. The fog also covered Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Jehlum and Khanpur.

Met office forecast cold and dry weather during next 48 hours in different cities of Punjab including Lahore.

Meanwhile, several people were injured when many vehicles collided at Kala Shah Kaku interchange at Motorway and Multan Road near Chohang
